Recipe Time
Colorful Stir-fry with Raw and Steamed Veggies.

This dish is so pretty! I should have taken a picture.

It’s nice to not always have to make a salad, Ya know what I’m saying? But eating the raw foods makes such a difference in how I look and feel. So I like to come up with dishes that have the raw foods in them.

This dish has the bright colors of red, green, yellow, purple, and white. Color is a frequency that can be measured, and means something energetically. Eating high quality natural colors from the earth contributes to your excellence in a physical, mental and emotional way.

All my recipes are gluten and dairy free, and designed to have flexibility for those that eat animal flesh. I’m married to someone that will always eat meat. I tend to be vegan naturally, but I think it’s great to have another perspective in the house so that I can reach out to those that eat meat, with great recipes that have meat optional, organic meat of course. Have you seen The Meatrix? Google it and watch!! Thanks for telling me about it Rainbeau Mars?

All my recipes adhere to proper food combining rules. This recipe is fine to add organic grass fed ground beef to the sauté or organic chicken.

Colorful Stir-fry with Raw and Steamed Veggies
Sauté for 3-5 minutes
*1 yellow onion
*Fresh or dried oregano, remove the leaves from 3 stems
*Minced garlic
* Optional: add Organic, grass fed ground beef or diced organic chicken to the sauté.
*Chop ½ head red cabbage into large chunks and add to the pot
*Add 1 cup water

Cover and simmer for 25 min. You may need to add a bit of water so check on it after 15 min.

Remove from heat.
*Add 1 tbsp sesame oil and 1 tbsp tamari or nama shoyu

Add Raw ingredients:
Chop 1 Red pepper and 1 Yellow Pepper. I eat the seeds too, but not the stem.

Simply stir in chopped bell peppers, serve and enjoy.

Take a bite of the raw peppers first. Introducing enzymes from raw foods into the system prior to cooked food (food without enzymes), wards off a white blood cell reaction that engages the immune system therefore contributing to aging. So, it’s always a great idea to eat a raw carrot or raw celery just prior to dinner, or in this case, raw bell pepper. Or, if you're having a salad with a cooked dinner, eat some salad first.

Mint and Raw Honey Elixir
This is Super Green and Super Good!

Mint leaves from 5 or 6 stalks, about a cup of leaves
1.5 Tbsp organic raw honey.
2 cups structured water

Simply blend for a least 1-minute, maybe 2. The blender will heat it up just slightly from the friction. After you turn it off, you will notice it settle and become frothy on top. Wait a moment for it to settle and then pour into a glass. The froth will naturally stay in your blender, while the heavier liquid pours out smoothly. Enjoy this powerful dark green elixir.

Raw honey contains 27 minerals, 22 amino acids and 5,000 live enzymes. It keeps you healthy by fighting disease and boosting the digestive system. One daily spoonful is all that is needed to reap these benefits In additional to being an energy booster, cultures have been using raw honey as medicine for thousands of years because it’s a natural antibiotic and antibacterial. It promotes healing, reduces swelling and prevents infections.

Raw honey holds a powerful energy form the great bees. Bee’s pollination is responsible for the rich array of plant foods and herbs we have the pleasure of enjoying. Love those bees!

I like the Whole Foods 365 brand, (unless someone tells me it’s not really organic and comes from China? ) it’s liquidly, which is nice for a blended drink.

Mint is rich in enzymes, vitamin A, C, B12, thiamine, folic acid and riboflavin. Essential minerals that mint has include: manganese, copper, potassium, iron, calcium, zinc, phosphorus, fluoride and selenium.

LADIES, Folic acid is important for you as it’s related to optimal hormonal functioning. Mood swings can be directly related to folic acid deficiency, so some raw honey can help you stay happy?

Mint has been used for centuries to aid digestion and relieve indigestion. The chemical compound menthol is derived from peppermint oil and is well-known for its healing properties on the chest and respiratory system. In many proven cases mint is known to: Protect the body against the formation of cancerous cells, Relieve congestion, head colds and headaches. Talk about a healthy elixir! Mint inhibits the growth of bacteria and fungus, relieves symptoms of heartburn and irritable bowel syndrome because it relaxes the muscles in and around the intestine. Mint also combats bad breath and body order, it cleanses the blood, and clears up acne.

What a SUPER drink! Don’t cha think? Food is medicine friends.
